LIVING WAGE CAMPAIGN



OVERVIEW



The objective of this initiative is to advocate for a living wage in Hong Kong and raise awareness of work-life balance in this fast-paced society. A living wage is the least amount of money required for an individual to meet their basic needs like housing and food, and is greater than the legal minimum wage. Its goal is to help workers live decently.

OUTCOME



The campaign was a success, significantly extending the initiative's outreach and impact on employers. A notable increase occurred in the number of companies joining the campaign. I was very proud of the campaign and the difference it made for the initiative and the workers. It was a rewarding and meaningful project for me.
